Spread The Love
This post isn’t about me or my work, but about two wonderful jewellery designers that I know, Anathema Designs and Sacré Couer. They are both full to the brim with talent, vision, creativity and all round wonderfulness. Not only are they fantastic, driven designers and creators, but they are incredible people. They have both signed up to Enterprise Nation to try and secure funding to expand their business and take over the world.
Enterprise nation works like this, businesses sign up and create a ‘pitch’ and state the amount of money that they need to raise in order to fulfill a goal. The public then vote on the businesses page (1 vote = £1, but the money does not come from the voter, the voters pay absolutely nothing) If the number of votes get to the amount needed, Enterprise Nation along with Paypal then pay the business that amount. Again, as a voter, you pay absolutely nothing! You do need to sign up though, but that only takes around 30 seconds. So yeah, these two ladies need, and deserve, your votes! (hint: you can vote with multiple email addresses)

“Sacré Coeur Jewellery & Adornments specialises in bespoke, one of a kind and ready to wear designs which draw on neo-Victorian aesthetic, traditional Victorian values, aspects of the Steampunk movement and occasionally incorporating subtle religious imagery into certain pieces.
All of our pieces are hand crafted with love and borderline obsessive attention to detail in our studio in Hertfordshire, England. With the exception of a small selection of simpler designs, the vast majority of our designs are one of a kind owing to the vintage components used to create them. We prefer to use all vintage where possible, right down to the chains & clasps. This includes beads, watch parts, charms and lockets.
Our accessories range from collars and cuffs through to miniature hats with many, many more designs on their way. The miniature hats are 100% handmade. We do not use mass produced hat bases. This means we are able to create custom designs in a range of different colours and will hopefully soon be offering a range of different fabrics as well.”
