Publications And The Such

I seem to start nearly every blog post saying I’m going to update more, but life tends to get in the way! Things have been pretty busy the last month or so, and I have a stack of about 10 blog posts I need to get done on various things, so I WILL get these done, I promise.

This is just a quick(ish) update to squeal about some publications. The first of which is inside a Mamiya brochure for their new DM Systems (which incidentally are the best thing since sliced bread) They even included a quote, does that mean I’m famous now?

They asked me for a quote they could use, but it wasn’t allowed to be funny, rude or sarcastic. It took me about half an hour to write. I had a little bit of a fan girl moment when the brochure arrived, as I turned the page and saw that Marcus Klinko and his partner Indrani are also included in the brochure a few pages after mine.

The next publication is some retouching that I did for photographer Natalie J Watts (check her out, she’s awesome) for the lovely people over at Sunglasses Shop. They sent me a lush pair of Ray Bans along with some copies of the magazine, and I pretty much live in them. My previous beloved Primark sunglasses now lay forgotten on my worktop.

The final publication is for the latest issue of UK Lingerie Buyer, which came out today, and it’s my very first cover (photography wise anyway) so I’m rather stoked! I’m rather happy to see they’re official supports of De Montfort University, as several of my favourite designers have come from there. That place really does breed pure talent.

So yeah, that’s the end of that. I plan on getting a scanner soon, so hopefully the next time I have some publications to share the images won’t be crappy mobile phone shots!
